Explain the merchant's actual payment arrangement
Vipps MobilePay documents reserve and capture as distinct parts of supported payment flows. A Norwegian merchant's staff view should communicate the result it actually has, rather than label every authorised reservation as money already captured.
We build product selection, orders and supported payment connections around the client-owned provider account. Eligibility, commercial terms and permitted methods are confirmed with the provider. This service is not a claim of Vipps partnership or merchant approval.
Connect the provider result to the order decision
Agree which business action is permitted at each relevant stage. The interface needs the intended reference and the actual applicable result, including captured amounts where required. A payment screenshot is insufficient to establish the whole order's position.
Finance and appropriate advisers approve the seller identity, currency display, customer terms and accounting treatment. We implement the agreed requirements rather than supply tax or legal advice.
Review a partially completed purchase
Use the provider's supported test arrangement to inspect an authorised amount, the intended capture and an interrupted customer return. Check staff understanding and the order record, not only the payment button. Any live financial test is a separate agreed acceptance action.
