Choose an authoritative lookup for the decision
An organisation planning a Norwegian electronic-invoice connection may inherit an old ELMA export. Digdir explicitly warns against using those datasets to decide current Peppol participation or receiving capabilities. A historical list can look authoritative while answering the wrong question.
We assess the existing systems, supported interfaces and actual access-point or accounting-provider arrangement. The implementation follows current documented discovery and document requirements. A public register is not permission to operate a financial account or send invoices.
Separate successful transmission from business processing
The sender needs a useful record of the intended recipient, document reference and the result available from the supported connection. Accounting owners decide how that result affects their process. A generated file is not automatically a received or accepted invoice.
Use approved test data and the provider's test route. Credentials and confidential financial records stay outside public code and general enquiries.
Review a changed recipient
Choose a representative document and a recipient whose receiving capability must be checked through the actual supported method. Include an unsupported case and inspect the staff explanation. The review should identify who can resolve the issue instead of silently choosing an old destination.
The handover documents monitoring, investigation and how the connection can be paused. Specialist accounting decisions remain with the responsible team.
